Barry Glassman Taps McComas To Aid Campaign

State Senator Barry Glassman is running for Harford County Executive.

Sen. Barry Glassman has named Howard K. McComas IV as the chairman of his campaign for Harford County Executive.

Glassman made the announcement Monday. McComas is the president of the Harford County funeral homes that share his name,

A Glassman campaign release said that McComas previously chaired the Harford County campaign for Bob Ehrlich's gubernatorial run.

“Sen. Glassman has a strong record of leadership and accomplishment both during his time on the County Council and as a delegate and senator in Annapolis,” McComas said in a news release. “He has always been a strong advocate for small businesses, while championing efficiency in government and pushing for a quality education for our children. As both a business owner and a father, these are all things that are important to me.”

McComas is a Bel Air resident and a native of Abingdon. He attended Edgewood High School and graduated from Appalachian State University, according to the release from Glassman's campaign.
